Department of Human Services DHS
Community Services promotes the safety and well being of children and young people and works to build stronger families and communities. We provide child protection services, parenting support and early intervention, foster care, adoption services and help for communities affected by disaster.
National Council Accreditation Council NCAC
Established in 1993, NCAC is responsible for administering Child Care Quality Assurance (CCQA) for the following children’s services in Australia:
- Family Day Care Quality Assurance (FDCQA) for family day care schemes
- Outside School Hours Care Quality Assurance (OSHCQA) for outside school hours care services
- Quality Improvement and Accreditation System (QIAS) for long day care centres
NCAC is a non-profit organisation funded by and accountable to the Australian Government.
Sydney Children’s Hospital
Sydney Children’s Hospital, Randwick and Community Child Health Services encompass an acute care facility as well as associated outreach and community based services. The Hospital is one of three tertiary centres for child health in New South Wales. We provide the most complex (level 6) and comprehensive range of services in paediatric and adolescent medicine and surgery as well as child protection.
